Saving Money Eating Out on the Gold Coast
As soon as you arrive at the Gold Coast or even if you are
a local, go to a Visitors Information Centre or the one on
Cavill Avenue and pick up some free tourist brochures or magazines.
These have lots of discount vouchers in them that will
save you money.
Best booklets to get are Dining Out Gold Coast, Best of
the Gold Coast Magazine and Hello Gold Coast, where you can
present an advertisement and receive a discount off your bill.
While other restaurants advertise buy one get one free
meal of same value or for half the price.
You can save money by dining at Surf Clubs as they have
affordable tasty meals and often the best views in town. Here
are two samples-
Northcliffe Surf Club Surfers Paradise, 300m south
of the Q1 building with magnificent ocean views delicious

North Kirra has great coastal views and claims to have the

The Gold Coast Bulletin Thursday paper includes the T.V.
guide. In there is an advertisement from 'Fisherman's Cove
Restaurant' for a 3 course meal costing only $9.95
For more savings bring the advertisement in and receive
free garlic bread. The meals are excellent value, delicious,
great atmosphere and friendly service.

George's Paragon Seafood Restaurant at Surfers Paradise
offers lunch and dinner menu for half price if you book and

Sopranos - Lounge Bar, Café and Restaurant often
advertises specials in the Dining Out Gold Coast booklet you

Saks Restaurant & Bar has some money saving deals
during the weekdays and fantastic water view. Ring for specials

Aruba is another Award Winning Restaurant. Look for
their specials in the Gold Coast Bulletin paper on Thursdays
or Phone 55281811. Location: 4/17 Tedder Avenue, Main Beach
Mano's restaurant has a good value breakfast deal.
